The study is investigating how the types of child care change between 9 months and 2 years, as children approach the age for accessing New Zealand’s ’20 hours free’ childcare at age 3, parents’ reasons for utilising (or not utilising) childcare at age 2 will be examined, and how longitudinal researchers can work alongside policy makers to enhance policy translation.
